OKWU's Jaden Lietzke and DJ Talton Named All-Americans

The NAIA officially released their 2023-24 All-American teams with a couple of OKWU players making the cut. For the Eagles, juniors Jaden Lietzke and D.J. Talton Jr. earned honors and were named second team All-Americans.

Jaden Lietzke finished this season with the second-best FG% in the KCAC and second overall in the country while also averaging 17 ppg and 8.2 rpg. For Talton, he averaged a career high in points at 14.3 along with averaging 3.7 steals per game.

Talton also lead the NAIA in total steals on the season with 123. The next closest was 93. Here is OKWU Head Coach Donnie Bostwick talking about his two leaders.

The Eagles ended their season at 31-3 with a loss to Central Baptist in the Round of 16 in Kansas City.
