OU, OSU Stay Unbeaten
All three of OU, Oklahoma State and Tulsa were winners on Saturday, as two of the nation’s 11 undefeated teams make their home in Oklahoma.
The Sooners started to finally look like themselves. OU blasted through TCU in Caleb William’s first start at quarterback. Oklahoma beat the Horned Frogs 52-31. After struggling on offense early in the year, OU has scored more than 50 in two straight Big 12 wins.
This 41-yard touchdown run from Williams sealed the Sooner victory.
Meanwhile Oklahoma State needed a big fourth quarter effort to come from behind to beat Texas in Austin on Saturday. Cowboys won it with defense again, beating the Longhorns 32-24.
OK-State held Texas to one yard offensively in the fourth quarter. UT didn’t get a first down in the final 26 minutes of gameplay. It was this fourth down stop that helped the Pokes to the win.
Tulsa also came from behind, as TU survived a poor start to beat USF, 32-31.
Up next for our in-state clubs: OU is at Kansas at 11 on Saturday morning. Oklahoma State goes to Iowa State at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. Tulsa hosts Navy this Friday night at 6:30
