Another Monday means it is time for another Patriot Family of Autos Area Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech.

This week we head to the soccer pitch to talk about Bruin senior star Jonathan Pectol.

Pectol has been a big part of the program all four years, and a good mainstay during a period of change for the Bruins. BHS has had three head coaches during Pectol’s four seasons in high school.

So far so good for the Bruins in 2024. Bartlesville is 3-2 in District play and 4-5 overall. Pectol gives his thoughts on the Bruin’s season thus far.

Cedric Muteshi is Bartlesville’s first-year head coach. He came over from the girl’s side this past offseason, as his son is a freshman this year.

Pectol says Muteshi has been great to work with.

Off the field Pectol says he would like to continue playing soccer if that was an option in the college ranks. He wants to major in cybersecurity, and he lists computer coding as one of his main hobbies.

Pectol talks about what he likes about coding.

Pectol says he is undecided on where he wants to go to school but mentioned the University of Tulsa as one of the main options at the top of the list.

Congrats to Jonathan Pectol our Patriot Family of Autos Area Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech.

Bruin soccer is next in action at Bishop Kelley on Tuesday night. The Bruins are tied for third in 6A-District 4 and currently in the playoffs with two District games remaining.
