Pokes Upset Jayhawks

Oklahoma State men’s basketball finally held on to a lead at home *kind of* to knock off the No. 6 ranked Kansas Jayhawks in Stillwater.

The Pokes handed Bill Self a loss to his alma mater, 75-70.

Oklahoma State threw away a 16-point lead before scoring the game’s final eight points to pull out the five-point win. The winning play came on a great block and save by freshman Cade Cunningham, Rondel Walker ended up getting an and-one to put the Cowboys up by three.

Pokes would get a steal and dunk as time expired when KU had the ball down three in the final seconds.

Oklahoma State had blown a 19-point lead to West Virginia just a week earlier and lost a seven-point lead to TCU at home in December.

Cowboys improve to 9-3. Bedlam up next in Stillwater on Saturday night.
