Rude Retiring After 27 Years with Bruin Golf

The longest tenured head coach for Bartlesville High Athletics is retiring this offseason.

Bruin head boy’s golf coach Jeff Rude will end his 27-year run leading the program. Rude has taken at least one Bruin to state every year but two during that span.

He talks about why he chose to hang it up following 2023.

Rude took over the program in 1996. He says there are many memories and individual players who stand out, but he highlighted a few that were big-time moments in Bruin golf history.

Rude says the time away will free up his springs for more golfing and fishing. We will have more on the new Bartlesville boy’s golf coach when that announcement is available.
