Wyandotte Shuts Out Nowata
The Nowata Ironmen faced one of the tough challenges of the season Friday night as they lost 26-0 to the Wyandotte Bears. The Bears came in just giving up 13 points all season and shut out Nowata's offense attack. The Irnomen were in the redzone three times and never tasted a touchdown. Nowata's starting quarterback Will Luster left the game in the first quarter with a leg injury and never returned. Wyandotte led 12-0 at halftime and went home with the victory.
Nowata falls to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in district play. Next up for the Ironmen will be October 14th against Chelsea.
