Tulsa Man Arrested For Trafficking Meth

A Tulsa man is in the Washington County jail after he allegedly was trafficking in illegal drugs.  24-year old Dustin Lee Giddens is charged with trafficking in meth, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of paraphernalia, and driving left of center.  Dewey police conducted a traffic stop at 4th and Osage in Dewey. 

According to a court affidavit, the authorities found a pistol in Giddens' vehicle.  Giddens told the police he didn't have a permit.  Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's office were called the assist with Dewey police.  Reportedly, the authorities found in Giddens' possession was a bag of meth and at least $4,000 in cash. 

Giddens next court date is October 21st.  Bond was set at $150,000.
