Multi-Cultural Focus Group Meets Oct. 12

The Bartlesville Public Library has organized and will hold its first Multi-Cultural Focus Group meeting on Oct. 12, Library Director Shellie McGill said this week.
 
The Library Team has been tasked with exploring opportunities "to embrace the unique cultures of the community" through working with partnering agencies and leading initiatives that can help identify unmet cultural needs.
 
The focus group is being formed to support and identify cultural needs that are unment. This group will communicate needs to the city, then possibly have resources allocated by the city to meet their needs.
 
Anyone who would like to participate is welcome to attend the meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. on Oct. 12 in Meeting Room C at the library, located at 600 S. Johnstone Ave.
