Bartlesville Man Arrested For Pushing An Officer
A Bartlesville man is in custody after he allegedly violated a protective order against a woman and wouldn't cooperate with an officer. 39-year old Jason John Teague is charged with resisting an officer and protective order violation. According to a court affidavit, a woman who had a protective order against the suspect, told Teague to leave twice after he came to her home. The victim called the police. When the officer tried to take Teague away, the woman saw the suspect push the officer. During the struggle, the officer tased Teague and he was immediately taken into custody. Teague pled not guilty to the misdemeanors. His next court date is February 12th. Bond was set at $25,000.
Court records indicate that Teague was found guilty last year in Washington County for violation of a protective order to the same victim. During Friday's arraignments, District Judge Curtis DeLapp sentenced Teague to serve one year in the county jail from the 2013 case.
