An unmarked gas lines forces the closure of one downtown Bartlesville street Wednesday. BTC Broadband was in the process of installing a new service line underneath Keeler north of Frank Phillips Blvd. when they struck an unmarked Oklahoma Natural Gas pipeline. Workers were initially unaware of the problem until they sat down to eat lunch and smelled the gas. The line was shut off without incident. Upon further inspection, a second unmarked gas line was found to run in the same area as the first. Crews are inspecting the second line to determine if any damage was done to it. Keeler north of Frank Phillips will be closed until inspection and repairs to the damaged line and the road can be completed.
