Run 4 Relief Set for Saturday
Saturday will mark the running of the 12th annual Run 4 Relief in Bartlesville but there is still time to register. As of 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, about 170 runners had preregistered to run in the fundraising event for the Nowata Osage Washington Chapter of the Red Cross but you can still register on race day. Besides the 5k run, there is a one mile fun run for everyone else. Or if you prefer to stay home and not run, you can be a virtual runner, just donate $30 for your virtual registration and you'll receive a special race t-shirt as well as the satisfaction of knowing that you've helped a good cause. If you want to race, registration opens Saturday morning at 7 with the fun run starting at 7:30 and the 5k race beginning at 8 AM. Medals will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the 16 age groups and a trophy will be given to the first male and female runners across the finish line.
