4-H Presents Summer Schedule and New AG Educator

It was business as usual at the Tuesday meeting of the Osage County Board of County Commissioners, the meeting was rescheduled for Tuesday this week for the observation of Memorial Day.

 

This week the Commissioners met to award several bids, sign contracts and hear from the OSU Extension Office regarding 4-H Summer activities.

 

Bids were awarded to Vulcan Signs, ATC Freight-liner, US Foods and Bordan Dairy.

 

Contracts for awarded bids were signed for Cross Oil Company, Hooton Oil, Quality Petroleum and Direct Discount Tires.

 

This week Jessica Jantzen, of the OSU Extension Office, introduced a new educator, Abbi Goldenberg, then presented the Osage County 4-H Summer activities schedule. Events included this summer are a River Float, Summer Camps, Livestock courses and workshops, and preparation for the County's Free Fair.

 

The Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 10am at the Osage County Courthouse.
