It was a tough night for both Dewey Bulldoggers and Lady Doggers basketball teams as they play at Chouteau to take on the Wildcats.  Lady Doggers lost 70-59 while the Doggers lost 101-83.

In the girls game, Lady Doggers trailed 61-33 after the third period, made a strong comeback, outscoring Chouteau 26-9 in the fourth, got within nine points, but fell short by 11 points.  Karissa Jones led Dewey with 13 points while Kennedy Cleveland and Addison Moll finished with 11 points a piece.  Lady Doggers are now 9-12 this season.

What a show for the boys game.  Both teams shot the ball very well.  Chouteau's Champ Bridges scored 31 of his game high 45 points in the first half to lead his team to a victory.  The Doggers defense never found a way to stop Bridges or the rest of the Wildcats.  Dewey's Drew Miller had a strong showing as he led the Doggers with 32 points.  Caston Frye finished with 14 points and Blayz Rippy added 11 points.  Doggers are now 10-11 overall this season.

Both the Doggers and Lady Doggers will conclude the regular season on Tuesday as they will play at Caney, Kansas to take on Caney Valley Bullpups.
