Tough Schedule Continues for Bruin Football

Bartlesville High had a tough time on the road with one of the state’s best teams this past Friday night.

Bixby topped the Bruins 74-7. After holding the Spartans to a first-drive field goal, and getting three first downs on its first two possessions, things went downhill for BHS.

Bartlesville head coach Jason Sport said after the game that he felt like his team is better than what it showed against Bixby.

BHS has played a tough schedule so far - the combined records of the teams the Bruins have faced is 13-2. 

It is Homecoming this weekend for the Bruins, as Bartlesville will try to bounce back at home against Booker T. Washington at 7:00 on Friday. The Hornets are 2-2, 0-1 in district play after a last-second loss to Choctaw this past Friday.
