City Council Approves Rezoning Application
After a public hearing, the Bartlesville City Council approved an application Monday evening from Greater First Baptist Church of re-zoning single-family residential to residential agriculture/planned unit development on property located on the north side of Adams Blvd. between Oak Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue. The property would be used as off street parking across the street from the Washington County Jail. The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission approved the request at their September 24th meeting with certain conditions. Community Development Director Lisa Beeman explained the conditions. Two Bartlesville citizens spoke during the public hearing with some concerns about the plan.
