Next week will mark the 68th straight year for one of the word's largest amateur rodeos known as Cavalcade.

The event will run Monday the 14th through Sunday the 20th, and it takes place at Pawhuska’s Osage County Fairgrounds arena.

Activities for this year include a street dance on Tuesday night and nine rodeo performances throughout the week with finals to wrap up on Sunday.

They will also have a downtown parade on Saturday at 10 a.m. with competitions happening all week long including Cavalcade Queen.

The Pawhuska Round Up Club will kick off the event Saturday evening with warm ups at the arena.

Live musical entertainment will start on Tuesday night along with the free street dance in Pawhuska featuring the Jason Savory Band, Two Steps Back, The Josh Abbott Band and Jason Boland and The Stragglers.

Tickets are available in advance for the music performances, and tickets for all events are available at CavalcadeRodeo.com
