An August 12th preliminary hearing has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and took her cell phone.  Joshua Lee Howell is charged with first degree robbery, breaking and entering a home without permission, domestic abuse assault and battery, and interfering with an emergency phone call.  Back in April, Bartlesville police were called to a home in the 1500 block of South Hickory Avenue to investigate a reported domestic incident.  According to a court affidavit, the woman told the police that Howell came through her back window and tackled her on the bed as she was trying to get her cell phone.  Howell reportedly hit the victim in the back of her head and threw her backwards onto the floor, took her cell phone, and left the scene.  Howell remains in jail on a $1 million dollar bond.
